My name is Nick Laight and I’m the Managing Director of Canonbury Publishing Ltd.

I’m addicted to finding new and proven ways to make money. And for the last 15 years I’ve published independent advice and research on business opportunities – everything from eBay to Forex trading, Internet Marketing to football betting.

If it claims to make money then chances are I’ve investigated it.

Over that time I’ve helped tens of thousands of people to find the best business opportunities for them through my various publications, research reports and courses. I’ve also warned people off the scams and poor quality schemes.

I started my own home business 7 years ago from a desk in the corner of my living room.

I worked a few hours in the evening and at weekends until it took off. My various businesses now turn over several million pounds each year. I must admit I’m a little embarrassed to say it (I am a typical reserved Englishman after all) but my home business made me a millionaire with all that means.

Sorry, no photos of my fancy cars... houses... expensive watches... or exotic holiday snaps... I’m not into all that cheap marketing hype!

Despite the financial and business success I don’t work long hours. I have a lot of fun and can spend time with my wonderful family - my wife and business partner Heloise, son Zac and daughter Belle.

I’ve made mistakes. But I’ve also learned a lot about running your own home business. I understand the obstacles that can get in your way. And now I know a lot of the shortcuts that can accelerate your income building efforts.

I don’t come from a privileged background. I did badly at school. I even failed economics! In fact I didn’t get my first proper job until I was 26. I’m living proof that no matter what your age, background, education or experience, there is a business opportunity out there that suits you.
